Montana DUI Reform Summit Thursday, September 3, 2026 | 4:00-8:00 p.m. Arts & Technology Building, Flathead Valley Community College Community voices matter. Be part of the solution. State Representative Courtenay Sprunger invites the public to the Montana DUI Reform Summit, a free community event focused on reducing impaired-driving crashes, fatalities and serious injuries across Montana. The evening will bring together law enforcement, members of the judiciary, prosecutors, policymakers, community advocates, businesses and the public for a practical conversation about DUI prevention, enforcement, repeat offenses, treatment, roadway safety and potential policy reforms ahead of the 2027 legislative session. From 4:00-6:00 p.m., attendees can take part in an interactive DUI Experience featuring educational stations on impaired driving, field sobriety testing, legal and financial consequences, victim impact, safe-ride programs and prevention strategies. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., expert panels will explore DUI policy and enforcement, recidivism, treatment courts, prosecution, sentencing, community advocacy, safe-ride initiatives and potential legislative solutions. Attendees will also have opportunities to share feedback and help inform future conversations about impaired-driving policy in Montana. Panelists and participants are expected to include representatives from law enforcement, Montana's criminal justice system, local government, community advocacy organizations and the hospitality industry. The summit is free and open to the public, and a complimentary light meal will be served. Hosted by Representative Courtenay Sprunger in partnership with the Flathead Valley DUI Task Force, Glacier Bank, Montana Bar Fairies and the Montana Tavern Association.
