9-11 Honor & Serve Memorial Ribbon Cutting & Dedication

Join us on September 11, 2026 at 11:30 AM for a special ribbon cutting and dedication of the 9/11 Honor and Serve Foundation Memorial at its new home at Bigfork VFW Post 4042. Originally located at Flathead Lake Lodge, the memorial has been relocated to the VFW where it will be more accessible to the public, providing a permanent place for our community and visitors to stop, reflect and remember. The memorial honors the lives, service and sacrifice of those lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks and the September 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya. Its new home carries forward the Foundation's mission of "Honor Through Service" and its commitment to ensuring these individuals and their sacrifices are never forgotten. Following the ribbon cutting and dedication, the 9/11 Honor and Serve Foundation will present its 9/11 Memorial Service. This event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to join us for this day of remembrance and dedication.
