Preschool Art Adventures
The youngest of artists, ages 2-5, enjoy Preschool Art Adventures with their adult guardian on Tuesdays from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. "There's a lot of fun packed into that half hour," notes Martin, "these young artists develop an early life-long love of art." Hockaday members at the family level membership participate for free, while non-members are asked for a modest $3 donation per child. Director of Education Kathy Martin says "the Hockaday's children's classes always tie in with currently exhibited art in the galleries such that students can view real-life examples of what they later practice hands-on in the classroom."
