Flathead Story Concert for Nat'l Tell-a-Story Day

Flathead Valley College, A T Bldg Ro... More Info

Everyone has a story, especially the Flathead neighbors sharing true experiences on National Tell-a-Story Day (Monday 4/27) in a special Flathead Story Concert at FVCC.

This free community event will showcase students who crafted personal essays in FVCC's recent Spring Continuing Education course on live storytelling taught by story coaches Barbara and Glenn Schiffman, founders of Flathead Story Concerts. Other invited tellers include board members of creative non-profits like Authors of the Flathead and The Making Place.

Flathead story fans will be surprised, amused and inspired by the half-dozen-plus true stories presented by the locals who lived them.

This is the second Story Concert hosted at FVCC by the Schiffmans for National Tell-a-Story Day -- the first was on 4/27/2023. It is also the 12th live story event they've curated and produced at venues throughout the Flathead since then, including Sacred Waters Brewing, three Flathead libraries, and White Raven Winery. The theme for this year's Tell-a-Story Day event is "Taking a Chance."

When: Monday April 27 -- stories from 7:00pm-8:30pm (doors open at 6:45pm)

Where: FVCC -- A T Building Room 209 (lower level) -- 777 Grandview Drive, Kalispell MT 59901

Free admission -- open to the public (best for ages 16 )

Co-hosted by Flathead Story Concerts with FVCC's Continuing Education Dept.
