Explore silks fabric wraps, build strength, and nourish creativity in our exhilarating month-long aerial silks series. These classes are not just an epic fitness program, they will give you a deeper connection with your body and what it can do! Suitable for all fitness levels ages 16 and up!
What to Expect in Class
Each class is primarily instructional [we break down skills step by step while you practice them], but we also blend in elements of cardio, strength training, and flexibility work. For beginners, we often tie a knot in the silks to create a stable platform for learning body positioning. As your strength and skills grow, the knot comes out and your movement evolves.
No two classes are ever the same. You'll build muscle, improve coordination, and discover a sense of flow; both physically and mentally. And don't worry if you think you're a "slow learner" (there's no such thing in acrobatics). Everyone progresses at their own pace, and we honor that fully.
What to Bring / Wear
In all fabric classes (silks and hammock alike), leggings are recommended to protect your skin from irritation. A sports bra and fitted shirt long enough to be tucked in will work, or a leotard is even better. No gum, zippers, or jewelry that will snag the silks. We also suggest bringing a notebook. Most importantly, don't forget a water bottle to stay hydrated!💧
