Frederick Frankenstein, a brilliant scientist and proud descendant of the infamous Dr. Victor von Frankenstein, is determined to distance himself from his family's grisly legacy - even insisting his surname be pronounced "Fronken-steen." When he inherits his grandfather's ancestral castle high in Transylvania, Frederick reluctantly travels there - joined by his devoted servant Igor and the eager lab assistant Inga. Once inside the castle's creepy labs, Frederick - spurred on by eerie family legacies and the manipulative housekeeper Frau Blucher - decides to resurrect the dead and attempt his grandfather's infamous experiment. Chaos, comedy, and wild hijinks ensue as he animates a monstrous but misunderstood creation.
