Join Ty Hash for an overview of sustainable natural building systems including strawbale, cob, light-straw-clay, and hempcrete construction, as well as various natural plasters. After the talk at the Mountain Brook Community Center, we'll head up to Ty's home to tour a modern strawbale house, several lime and clay plasters, an earthen floor, and other sustainable practices that can be integrated into home construction. Cost is $10.
