Living in bear country is part of life in Northwest Montana. Join Swan Valley Bear Resources for their annual Bear Fair and learn practical ways to prevent human-bear conflicts while keeping both people and wildlife safe.
Meet bear experts and local organizations, practice using inert bear spray, and hear a presentation from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Bear Education Technician Anna Martin beginning at 1:00 PM.
This free, family-friendly event also features the Sausage Queen food truck and a kids' activity table, making it a fun afternoon for all ages.
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to bear country, you'll leave with valuable knowledge and resources to help you live responsibly alongside Montana's iconic wildlife.
Admission is free and open to everyone.
