PechaKucha Vol. 13
Description This event is free and open to the public. The Wachholz College Center on the campus of Flathead Valley Community College is excited to be the home of PechaKucha Kalispell in 2026. Created in Japan in 2003 by a group of architects, PechaKucha is a presentation format that uses a fixed number of slides, each advancing automatically after a set time, encouraging presenters to be concise and maintain a dynamic pace. There are over 1,200 chapters worldwide. PechaKucha means "chit chat" in Japanese. The local Kalispell PechaKucha chapter was formed in 2017. Join us for PechaKucha night on Thursday, November 12th at the Wachholz College Center in Kalispell. For Volume 13 our theme is so good you can taste it. You've sampled their wares, but tonight you learn the secret sauce behind their culinary troublemaking. In rapid-fire 20 x 20 format (20 slides for 20 seconds each) you'll hear from our local Tastemakers. Surrender your tastebuds and get to know our area chefs, caterers, foragers, farmers, restaurateurs, cooks and distillers like never before. Bring your appetite for community and connection and fill your cup.
